Bhubaneswar: KIIT deemed to be University will host the 61st Femina Miss India Grand Finale on April 18, 2026. This will be the first time the Femina Miss India Finale is being held at a University. KIIT is the first university in India to host this mega event. It will also be the first time an event of this scale has been organized in eastern India.
The participants of the Femina Miss India were welcomed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport after they reached Bhubaneswar. The participants has been scheduled to visit the KIIT campus and for the next seven days they will participate in various competitions. In between, they will visit the scenic spots across Puri, Konark, and the historic places.
The finale program on April 14, which coincides with Pana Sankrati, will be held as per the Odia traditions.
An MoU was signed in Mumbai between KIIT DU and Femina Miss India, for KIIT to host this mega event.
Before the MoU was signed, the representatives from Femina Miss India visited KIIT and KISS to inspect the infrastructure four months ago. Impressed by KIIT’s excellent and beautiful facilities, the Femina Miss India authorities decided to host the event at the university.
