Bhubaneswar: Kalabaisakhi will be experienced in the state of Odisha for the next five days said reports from the MeT department on Saturday. Thunderstorm with rain is likely in the state for the next five days.

According to the estimates of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in coastal, southern and interior Odisha on the June 15 and June 16. There is a possibility of heavy rain in South Odisha on June 17.

There will be heavy rain in some places of Nayagarh, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati districts. Similarly, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore and Bhadrak on June 18.

Monsoon has reached Odisha four days before the normal time, but the monsoon has not progressed. Monsoon has now stopped in two districts, Koraput and Malkangiri. The Meteorological Center has predicted that the monsoon will continue in the next four days.

On the other hand, summer heat is likely in seven districts for the next 24 hours. These districts are Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj. Similarly, intense heat will continue in coastal Odisha for the next four days.
