Kalabaisakhi rains predicted for next four days, yellow warning to these 13 districts today
The IMD has predicted that the Kalabaisakhi rains are likely to continue for the next four days in the state.
Bhubaneswar: The Kalabaisakhi rains are likely to continue for four more days in the state. Thunderstorms, lightning and hailstorms are likely to be experienced with a gusty speed of 40 to 50 kmph.
As many as 13 districts have been issued a yellow warning by the IMD. These include Nuapada, Kalahandi, Balangir, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Khorda, Puri, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur.
A yellow warning has been issued to 6 districts. In some places, thunderstorm and lightning alert has been issued. In the next 24 hours, the situation is expected to prevail in the state.
