Journalist attacked by sword in Malkangiri, dies
In a shocking incident, Naresh was brutally attacked by miscreants with a sword. He was shifted to the DHH but couldn't be saved.
Malkangiri: In a tragic incident, a journalist was killed brutally by some miscreants on Saturday night. The incident happened in Muraliguda village under Motu police limits in Malkangiri district.
The deceased has been identified as Ch. Naresh. He was working in a web portal there.
According to information, last night two people and two other journalists and Naresh were talking in their village. At this time, 5 miscreants came in two bikes and attacked him by a sword.
The miscreants attacked them and grabbed his car keys. Naresh and the other injured were rushed to the Motu primary health centre. He was later referred to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
However, he breathed his last despite efforts by doctors to cure him. Investigation is underway.
The others who were injured are undergoing treatment. Police started investigation after recording the statements of the eye-witnesses.
