Irate locals detain two youths for having beef biryani in Jajpur
Jajpur locals took matter to their hands, knelt down 2 youths and asked them to have the beef biryani on the road that they were carrying.
Jajpur: Two youths were allegedly detained by the locals after they were found of carrying beef biryani. The incident happened in Puruna Patuli square under Korei police station in Jajpur district.
According to information, a local suspected that the two youths were taking beef biryani in a parcel. The local enquired them about it. Meanwhile others stopped by and soon the locals knelt down the two youths on the road.
The two youths were knelt down and asked to eat biryani on the road. Following the dispute police reached the spot.
The Jajpur road police reached the spot and tried to calm down the irate individuals. The police then took the two individuals to the concerned hotel. The hotel owner had closed his shop and fled the scene.
