Intense cold wave continues to grip Odisha’s Kandhamal

Phulbani : Intense Cold wave continues to grip in Odisha’s Kandhamal district as temperatures have dropped at several places in the region on Thursday.

Daringbadi, also known as ‘Kashmir of Odisha’, recorded 6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was dropped to 6.8 degrees Celsius here in the district headquarter.

Daringbadi, the coldest place in the state, experienced snowfall today. Likewise, places like Greenbadi, Linepada, B Dakebadi and Kilabadi also witnessed mild snowfall and frost this morning.

The Met office has forecast that the cold wave conditions will likely to continue in the region over the next few days.
