Ind Vs SA T20 match at Barabati: Commissionerate Police deploys 22 platoons of force in Bhubaneswar, 57 platoons of police in Cuttack
To ensure the successful conduct of the International T-20 Cricket match between India and South Africa scheduled on December 9 at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, the Commissionerate Police has made extensive security arrangements for the safety of players, officials, and spectators.
Bhubaneswar: To ensure the successful conduct of the International T-20 Cricket match between India and South Africa scheduled on December 9 at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, the Commissionerate Police has made extensive security arrangements for the safety of players, officials, and spectators.
The city police informed that a total deployment of 22 platoons of force and 111 officers have been mobilised for Bhubaneswar at place of stay and rout lining.
In addition, vivid traffic arrangements, static ambulance services, Bomb Disposal Squad, plain cloth police personnel and aerial surveillance have been made.
This apart, the Commissionerate Police has deployed Special Tactical Unit (STU) to ensure round the clock security and immediate response to any situation.
Likewise, a total of 411 officers along with 57 platoons of force and 420 Tr. Hav/ORs and Constables have been deployed at Barabati Stadium and all strategic locations of Cuttack for the smooth and incident-free conduct of the match.
Moreover, all arrangements have been meticulously planned to ensure a safe, secure, and hassle-free tournament.
