IMD predicts fresh low pressure from October 9 over BoB
The IMD has predicted a fresh low pressure in the Bay of Bengal from October 9. The back-to-back rains have thrown life out of gear.
Bhubaneswar: The back-to-back rains in Odisha have wrecked havoc. Yet another low pressure over Bay of Bengal is expected to begin from October 9
According to IMD, this low pressure over Bay of Bengal will induce rainfall in Odisha. This system will develop over the Northern Bay of Bengal from October 9.
The Meteorological department has issued a yellow warning to the districts of Nabarangpur and Nuapada for heavy rainfall. At some places the wind speed is prevailing at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph.
Similarly, for lightning and thunderstorm, as many as 20 districts have been issued a yellow warning by the MeT department.
