IMD issues yellow warning for dense fog over several districts

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued yellow warning for dense fog over several districts of Odisha.

As predicted by the weather department dense fog likely to occurred till December 12. Check the day and district-wise fog warning.

Day 1 (Valid upto 8.30 AM of December 9):

  • Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh and Kandhamal.
  • Cold wave conditions very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over the districts of Sundargarh Angul and Jharsuguda.

Day 2 (Valid from 8.30 AM of December 9 to 8.30 AM of December 10):

  • Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh and Kandhamal.
  • Cold wave conditions very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over the districts of Sundargarh Angul and Jharsuguda.

Day 3 (Valid from 8.30 AM of December 10 to 8.30 AM of December 11):

  • Yellow Warning: Cold wave conditions very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over the districts of Sundargarh Angul, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Koraput, Sonepur and Cuttack .

Day 4 (Valid from 8.30 AM of December 10 to 8.30 AM of December 11):

  • Yellow Warning: Cold wave conditions very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over the districts of Sundargarh, Angul, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Koraput, Sonepur and Cuttack.
