In a major development in the case of famous Ollywood singer Humane Sagar’s death, the Commissionerate Police has reportedly interrogated co-singer Arpita Choudhury and music director Somesh Satpathy.
Cuttack: In a major development in the case of famous Ollywood singer Humane Sagar’s death, the Commissionerate Police has reportedly interrogated co-singer Arpita Choudhury and music director Somesh Satpathy.
Informing about the development, Ananya Awasthi, the ACP of Cuttack Zone 3, said that they are currently probing Humane Sagar’s death case in two different angles – circumstances leading to Humane Sagar’s death and financial irregularity.
Police have requested the concerned doctors and medicals to provide them all medical documents related to Humane Sagar’s treatment and death, she informed adding that documents pertaining to his financial affair also have been demanded from all the concerned banks and agencies.
Further evidence-based probe will be carried out after getting those documents, Awasthi informed.
In course of probe, all persons whose names have been mentioned in the FIR filed by Humane Sagar’s mother Sephali Suna will be interrogated, the ACP assured.
The development regarding the interrogation of Arpita Choudhury and Somesh Satpathy over the case comes hours after the Orissa High Court granted them anticipatory bails earlier today.
On December 21, Sephali Suna had filed a complaint at Markatnagar Police Station. In the complaint, she had named a group of people including Humane Sagar’s wife Shreya Mishra, Dr. Subhendu Mishra, singer Arpita Choudhury, his mangers Dinesh Behera and Prashant Behera, music director Somesh Satpathy, Md. Abid (Bablu), Lulu Mohanty and Jagdish Mohanty alleging them of responsible for the singer’s death.
Controversy about Humane Sagar’s death erupted ever since Sephali Suna made several allegations soon after his death during treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar on November 17.
