Hot and humid weather puts life out of gear in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: While the severe cyclonic storm Fani moves towards coastal Odisha, hot and humid weather has put day-to-day life out of gear in several parts of the state.

IMD reported temperature soaring to 40 C across 11 cities in the state. Subarnapur registered the highest of 42.4 C on Tuesday.

The regional meteorological department has predicted that the heat wave conditions will continue for two more days in the state. And with the Cyclone Fani set to make landfall on May 3, humid conditions have gripped Odisha.
