Hockey coach, his two associates gangrape minor girl in Jajpur
As alleged by the girl, her coach Sarthak and his associates Sandip and Sagar forcefully took the girl to a lodge while she was returning home after training on July 3 where Sarthak and Sandip sexually assaulted her.
Jajpur: Yet another shocking and shameful incident of gangrape has come to the fore in Odisha. This time in Jajpur district. A hockey coach and two of his associates allegedly gangraped a minor girl who was getting training under them at Jajpur Hockey Stadium.
As alleged by the girl, her coach Sarthak and his associates Sandip and Sagar forcefully took the girl to a lodge while she was returning home after training on July 3 where Sarthak and Sandip sexually assaulted her.
When she returned home, the rape survivor informed her mother about the incident following which a case was under sections 70(2), 351(2), 74, 3(5) of BNS and section 6 of the POCSO Act was registered against the trio.
Apart from recording her statement, police also sent the girl for medical examination.
Sources said that the rape survivor was going to the stadium for training for the last two years. She used to spend four hours a day, two hours each in morning and evening, on her tanning at the stadium.
