students fell sich after MDMKhurda: A day after over 100 students fell sick after consuming Mid-day Meal (MDM) at the Deulitangi Project Primary School, the Odisha Government ordered a probe into the incident on Thursday.

According to reports, the  state government asked Khurda Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) to investigate the issue of substandard meals served in the school and submit a report at its earliest paving the way for the administration to initiate action against the guilty.

Notably, over 100 students reported symptoms like nausea, head reeling and vomiting after taking boiled eggs served to them in the MDM at the Deulatangi Project Primary School on August 16. They were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) following the incident and are currently under treatment.

However, making light of the matter, the DHH doctors have already described the sickness as merely an allergic reaction.
