Giant Anaconda crossing road, video goes viral: Watch

A video has gone viral on social media where it is seen that a giant anaconda is crossing the road. The very popular clip has already garnered more than 2 lakh 35 thousand views after it was uploaded to Instagram.

Posted on Instagram by the user snake.wild we can see in the clip that a giant anaconda is crossing a busy street where a number of pedstrians as well as vehicles are plying.

Best thing is all the people on the road are co-operating the huge reptile so that it can cross the road without any hassle. As the video begins we can see the anaconda is tangled on a road divider with its front portion is on the other side of the road while the rear portion is on the foreground.

The camera then pans forward and now the complete anaconda is visible. The scene is interesting and also scary. People including pedestrians and car riders are waiting to give way to the giant reptile. The reptile then manages to crawl into a roadside bush. While the clip seems interesting owing to the human-snake behaviour, it is frightening to witness the huge size of the anaconda and the way it is moving forward.

Some other users were astonished to witness such a big reptile on a busy road among humans.

Wow!! At least people waited for this behemoth to cross the freeway!

They saved its life. I wonder if any onlooker knew an anaconda is a South American snake? It was brought here by wildlife smugglers, whose capture and importation of nonnative species to the US is bad for the species and for the US, as this snake had escaped his owner or was illegally released. Animal Control should have been called to capture the snake. Places that can take of the snake exist and can be contacted.

      • Anthony

Correction …. there is a snake in every person on this planet even the ones who say they are not … It’s a human condition even in you

      • Philip

        Yes few are very poisonous

        • Native Daughter

No anaconda is venomous they are a constrictor. Snakes aren’t poisonous they are either venomous or nonvenomous. Just saying.

    • Josh

This creature has a critical role in balancing the ecosystem.
Humans, on the other hand, have a critical role in unbalancing (and destroying) it.

Heartening to note that we don’t react to kill the snakes rather have learnt to give them respect and space.

To anaconda, human being is simply a meal.

    • Paul

Is that I lack understanding or maybe I purely didn’t get it.. what if there’s an encounter between the anaconda and a human.. so the anaconda will just forgive and look away even when it’s hungry.‍♂️

      • Del

Snakes typically have no taste for humans, or big things for that matter. They instead prey on things that won’t be of hinderance as that makes them vulnerable to others.

  • chris

    aha! finally someone gets it

  • Jeet Hairy

We humans have invaded their lands and when we see 5hese beautiful creatures, they become the victim.

    • Mr. Priya Ranjan Biswas

      You said it!

    • Anyaegbu Emmanuel

  • Brian Ongore

Call the Wildlife guys to come and pick it up or kill that !If it’s wildlife let it remain in the park.If its outside here it’s a danger to society! No need of leaving such a big snake outside free.It might harm a person and if I’m told to choose btw a human and an animal I’d choose a mad dirty human over the most expensive animal even kept!!That’s my opinion,if you dnt like it,fool off !!

    • Daniel

Not “may not” dear it will not. What the f*** God bless you

    • James Hendrix

So you think that all life other than humans belong in a Zoo or a park, sad and you said Fool, think about that and yourself????.

  • Common sense

Snakes and eagles kill most cruelly, therefore they shouldn’t be tolerated anywhere dogs and children play and live. A good Louisville Slugger to the head and that snake would no longer be a threat to anyone or anything.

  • Reza Abdul

I’m glad it crossed the highway during the broad daylight, it would have been disastrous if it crossed at night

    Do humans have humanity?

  • Praveen Kumar

    Such inhuman comments from some!
    Don’t call yourselves human!

  • Rafael

The goo thing is that the snake isn’t threatening humans with nukes, respects Ukraine and minds it’s own business unlike some other legged creatures

  • Edward

not it does not have respect for human
