Bhubaneswar: The ruling party of Odisha Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Tuesday announced candidates for the last two Lok Sabha seats for the upcoming 2019 elections. Earlier, it had announced candidates for 19 Parliamentary segments.
With today’s announcement, BJD completed fielding candidates for all the 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha. With the aim to send 33 per cent women representatives to the Parliament from the state, the conch party has fielded seven women candidates from Koraput, Sundergarh, Aska, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Keonjhar Lok Sabha constituencies.
