The First Selection Merit List for Phase-l admission into the Four-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) under SAMS has been published.
Bhubaneswar: The First Selection Merit List for Phase-l admission into the Four-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) under SAMS has been published.
The Four-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) has been included under SAMS for the first time during the Academic Year 2026-27. Applicants who appeared in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET)-2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), were eligible to apply for admission into ITEP through the SAMS Portal.
The admission statistics are as follows:
- Total Sanctioned Seat Strength : 1,500
- Total students applied: 10,647
- Total no. of Students selected: 1463
- Total Male selected: 562
- Total Female selected: 901
- Total Transgender selected: 0
The Stream wise Highest Cut-off Marks are as follows:
- Sc. B.Ed (Science Stream): Ravenshaw University (Mark-461.13) (zoology)
- A. B.Ed (Arts Stream): Ravenshaw University, Cuttack (Mark-391.82) (Economics)
- Com. B.Ed (Commerce Stream): Rajdhani (Degree) College, Bhubaneswar (Mark- 227.82) (Commerce)

Revised Schedule due to Scheduled Maintenance Activity:
- Due to scheduled maintenance activity, the Freeze/Slide option will be available from 13.07.2026, 11:00 AM to 15.07.2026, 04:00 PM, instead of the earlier schedule of 10.07.2026, 04:00 PM to 15.07.2026, 04:00 PM.
- Applicants opting for “Freeze” must pay the prescribed admission fee, download the Intimation Letter, and report to the allotted HEI between 13.07.2026, 12:00 Noon and 15.07.2026, 05:00 PM to complete the admission process.
- Applicants opting for “Slide” must pay the prescribed admission fee for the allotted seat and wait for the 2nd Round Selection. Reporting to the allotted HEI is not required at this stage.
