Jharsuguda: A major fire broke out in a plastic scrap godown at Beherapata under Sadar police station limits in Jharsuguda district this morning. The fire brigade reached the spot and to bring the fire under control.
According to information, the fire broke out due to short circuit in the godown. As many as four fire brigades are engaged to extinguish the raging fire which has not been controlled during the filing of this report.
The locals noticed the fire and informed the owner of the godown and the fire brigade. In the fire tonnes of products were reduced to ashes.
