Eminent film director Himansu Khatua pays last respect to late Odia film superstar Uttam Mohanty

Bhubaneswar: Eminent film director Himansu Sekhar Khatua paid tribute and had last darshan of late Odia film superstar Uttam Mohanty at his house in Jagannath Vihar in Bhubaneswar.
It is to be noted that the legendary Odia film actor Uttam Mohanty passed away yesterday at a private hospital in Delhi. His mortal remains was brought to Odisha today.
Odisha CM, politicians, actors, actresses, fans, relatives and others got the great actor’s last darshan at his house.
Remembering the ‘Danda Balunga’ actor Sri Khatua said that no doubt Uttam Mohanty was a superstar. He has an established, popular and successful career spanning over five decades in Odia film industry.
Many films as well as artists will be made, but we will not get an artist like Uttam Mohanty because he was not only an actor, but also was a good human being, having a good personality, he added.
