Dr. Achyuta Samant conferred with prestigious CRS Leadership Award

Kolkata: Educationist, social worker and founder of KIIT and KISS Dr. Achyuta Samant has been conferred with the prestigious CRS Leadership Award. The award was presented by the Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha today at the Vidyasagar University campus in West Bengal.

In Dr. Samant’s absence, his representative, Professor Rosalin Sahu, received the award. Dr. Samant has been conferred with the award for his outstanding contribution in the fields of education, science, research and social service.

Dr. Samant thanked CRS for the CRS Leadership Award and expressed his gratitude to the President of Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha, Professor Braj Gopal Bagh and Secretary Professor C. V. Yellamagarh.

Dr. Samant has been working towards nation building for 33 years through education and student welfare.

In his response, Dr. Samant said that education is the most powerful tool for social development. When education is combined with values, empathy and scientific thinking, it has the power to develop not only individuals, but entire communities and nations.
