Double murder shocks residents of capital city of Bhubaneswar!

Bhubaneswar: A double murder has taken place in Bhubaneswar the capital city of Odisha over a trivial issue. The murder has been reported from Airfield police station area. Two friends Rashmi Ranjan Sethi and Sambit Raut have allegedly been killed.

The murder took place relating to a parking controversy. Rashmi and Sambit lived in a building in the local area. Both have poultry shops in the city. Last night, Ganesh Mallick had an argument with Sethi and Rout about a particular parking lot.

After closing the chicken counter when the friends were returning, Ganesh with his five associates  reached the spot attacked and killed the two friends. One died on the spot whereas the other breathed his last in the hospital.

After that the police have detained Ganesh’s wife and four others people. Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh and the special squad have reached the spot and started an investigation into the double murder in Bhubaneswar. However Ganesh and his five associates are yet to be traced. A special team has been formed to catch the offender, a manhunt has been launched in this regard.

A cousin of the deceased Rashmi has said that the murder took place following a small argument relating to a parking lot. “The two friends who were always together died together”, he added. He further said that the family has complete faith on the legal system and that justice shall be delivered at the earliest. Further detailed reports in this regard awaited.
