Double low-pressure formed over Bay of Bengal, restriction imposed on fishing
The fishermen have been asked to return to the shore as the sea is violent at the moment after a double low pressure zone developed over BoB.
Bhubaneswar: A double low-pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal (BoB). The fishermen have been asked not to go into the sea till June 19 is violent at the moment.
The fishermen have been advised not to go into the sea. They have been asked to take their nets and boats to safe places. The fishermen in Balasore’s Bhogarai block have been issued the advisory using radios.
The people residing in the coastal areas and the low-lying areas of the sea have also been issued an advisory due to the formation of a double low-pressure area. The IMD issued that rainfall will continue till June 20 in the state.
