Puri: The dismembered body parts of a college-going girl were found on railway tracks at Haripur Gram Railway station under Delang block in Puri district, 3 km from Khurda Road junction.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the girl is a resident of Sakhi Gopal town. It is being surmised that she was run over by the Tirupati bound Puri-Tirupati Express while crossing the railway tracks. However, it is still unknown whether it was an accident, murder or a case of suicide.
After receiving a tip-off, the Police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the incident. More information is awaited.
