Dharmendra’s Brother gets anticipatory bail in LPG Case

The Orissa High Court grants anticipatory bail to Union P&NG Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s brother Soumendra Pradhan in connection with the LPG black marketing case.

Soumendra’s lawyer Dharanidhar Nayak said the court has asked his client to cooperate in the investigation.

The Vigilance department had raided the Gas Agency owned by Soumendra Pradhan on charges of black marketing and irregularities.

The raids took place at Pradhan Gas Service at Handidhua in Talcher on January 14.

A case was registered against Soumendra and three others – Manager Rasmikanta Mohapatra and employees Nilu Sahu and Debraj Panda on January 15, prompting him move the High Court, seeking anticipatory bail.
