The conclave will include several sessions which will help the young entrepreneurs and investors to understand the investment benefits and also interact with academician and business leaders in the sector.
“Energy sector is growing but Petrolchemical sector is growing at a much faster rate. This conference being held in Bhubaneswar is an example of the scope in the region,” said Pradhan, adding that Paradip and Dhamra have a lot of scope for investment opportunities.
State Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera and MSME Minister Prafulla Samal were also present at the event.
“The Industrial Policy of Odisha recognises Petrochemical sector as a priority sector. We are giving special emphasis to it. The State Government will give all cooperation possible,” said the Finance Minister.
The MSME Minister, meanwhile, urged Pradhan to give equal importance to Dhamra and Paradip port.
Many memorandum of understandings (MoUs) were signed between Indian Oil and other functionaries on the occasion.
