Puri: Decomposed bodies of a couple were found hanging from a fan at Rencha village under Nimapara police limits this evening.
Police said that it was a case of suspected suicide and they are further investigating to ascertain the reason behind it.
The deceased have been identified as Biswajit Mohanty and his wife. The matter came into light after the parents of the deceased who had been to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack three days ago reached the house this evening.
They found foul smell emanating from the house and immediately informed the matter to the neighbours. “They also informed the police who reached the spot and broke into the house and found the bodies. We have started an investigation into the incident,” said a police official.
