Cuttack: Youth narrowly escapes as running scooter catches fire in Barang
A youth narrowly escaped on Monday as his running scooter caught fire in Barang area in Cuttack district of Odisha.
Barang: A youth narrowly escaped on Monday as his running scooter caught fire in Barang area in Cuttack district of Odisha. The incident took place near Trisulia Square. However, the youth narrowly escaped.
Though the victim youth has not been identified he is said to be from Patia area of Bhubaneswar.
According to the reports, the youth was on his way towards Choudwar when the scooter suddenly caught fire. Within a few seconds the vehicle was engulfed in flames. Fortunately the rider managed to jump of the scooter on time and escaped unhurt.
On seeing this the locals called the Baranga Fire Services personnel. After getting information, the fire services personnel reached the spot in no time and brought the fire douse the flames.
However, by then the vehicle was completely burnt and reduced to ashes.
The exact cause of the fire incident is yet to be ascertained.
