Cuttack: Youth found dead in Buxi bazaar, murder suspected, watch
The body was found near the Buxi Bazaar petrol pump with visible injuries on the back and neck and signs of heavy blood loss.
Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a youth was found dead in Cuttack of Odisha on Wednesday. The body was found in the Buxi Bazar area of Cuttack city.
The deceased has been identified as Ashok Barik. He was reportedly working at a restaurant located on the upper floor of the CDA Market complex.
As per reports, the body was reportedly found near the Buxi Bazaar petrol pump.
Upon being informed, the Dargah bazaar police rushed to the spot and seized the body.
Preliminary investigation suggests foul play due to the visible injuries on the back and neck of the body along with signs of heavy blood loss.
While the exact cause of the death is yet to be ascertained, the case has been suspected as a murder case.
Further investigation of the case is underway.
