Cuttack GRP recovers man’s body from express train toilet, check details

As informed by the GRP authorities, the man’s body was recovered from one of the toilets of S-7 bogie of 12507 - Aronai Express. The body of the man, whose identity is yet to be known, was found in a hanging state.

Cuttack: In a shocking and surprising incident, the Cuttack Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered a man’s body from the toilet of an express train on Thursday.

As informed by the GRP authorities, the man’s body was recovered from one of the toilets of S-7 bogie of 12507 – Aronai Express after getting information from some passengers of the train.

The man’s body was found in a hanging state inside the toilet of the train which was on its way to Silchar from Hyderabad. While the identity of the deceased passenger is yet to be known, he is assumed to be around 40-year-old.

After recovering the unknown man’s body from the train, the GRP initiated a probe by sending it to the SCB Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.

Efforts are also underway to ascertain either he committed suicide by hanging himself in the toilet, or he was murdered and the killer hanged his body to give it a suicidal angle.
