Covid-19 Twin City Update: Bhubaneswar reports 6 positive cases while Cuttack city reports 2 cases
Bhubaneswar: Covid-19 cases in twin city of Odisha continues to be below 10 on March 23, 2022. Bhubaneswar has registered 6 Covid-19 cases today while Cuttack city (CMC area) has recorded 2 covid cases.
According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 6 positive cases registered today were local contact cases.
With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,443. The recovered cases are 1,55,041. The total deceased cases are 1191. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 190.
In Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) 1 institutional quarantine and 1 local contact case was reported.
The total cases in CMC are 56,026 while the total recovered cases are 55,571. Total Active cases are 26 while total deaths are 429.
The recovered cases in BMC is 9.
Odisha reported 60 Covid cases including 13 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Wednesday. The positive tally stands at 12,87,285.
Reportedly, among the 60 positives, 36 patients are in quarantine, and 24 are the local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 536.
