Commissionerate Police intensified enforcement against black-marketing of match tickets

A total of four accused persons have been apprehended and served with notices under the relevant provisions of law.

Cuttack: In the run-up to the India vs South Africa T20 cricket match scheduled to be held at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Tuesday, Commissionerate Police has intensified enforcement against black-marketing of match tickets.

During the special drive:

  1. Bidanasi Police Station has registered two cases, in which 12 tickets being sold at inflated rates were seized.
  2. Dargha Bazar Police Station has registered two cases, leading to the seizure of 9 tickets.

A total of four accused persons have been apprehended and served with notices under the relevant provisions of law.

Strict action is being taken against individuals involved in black-marketing activities. Commissionerate Police urges citizens to report any unlawful sale of tickets to the nearest police station.
