WATCH: Commissionerate Police in action mode, fines imposed for drunk driving
The Commissionerate Police is at its toes and started blocking and checking in 6 high alert areas in Bhubaneswar for drunk driving.
Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate police took to action mode and is strictly checking the entire city. Five to six places in Bhubaneswar have been thoroughly checked after two murders happened on Saturday.
The checking is aimed to control rash driving and drunk driving in the city. The police has collected fines from those found guilty in drinking and driving case.
According to information, two murders took place in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. One murder in Shanti Palli Basti of under Shaheed Nagar police station limits in the capital city. Police reached the spot and carried out the investigation. Similarly, another murder took place in Sameigadia area underMancheswar Police limits in Bhubaneswar.
