Watch: CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurates Utkala Gourab Madhusudan Museum & Interpretation Centre

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the ‘Utkala Gourab Madhusudan Museum & Interpretation Centre’ at Satyabhamapur village in Cuttack district through video-conferencing this evening.

The CM inaugurated the Museum and Centre on the occasion of the 174th birth anniversary of Utkala Gourab Madhusudan Das, who was born in Madhusudan Das.

While addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that Madhu ‘Babu’ was the symbol of Odia self-esteem and his life is the glorious saga of Odia self-esteem.

The CM said that Satyabhamapur is a place of pilgrimage for all Odias and the Utkala Gourab Madhusudan Museum & Interpretation Centre will provide inspiration to the young generation for protecting Odia self-esteem.

Panchayati Raj Minister Pratap Jena, Salepur MLA Prasant Behera, Cuttack Collector Bhawani Charan Chaini and president of Satyabhamapur Madhusudan Cultural Association Prasant Kumar Rout were among others who were on the spot and took part in the inauguration of Utkala Gourab Madhusudan Museum & Interpretation Centre.

Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and other senior officials also attended the function through video-conferencing from Lokseba Bhavan.
