Class IX student hangs self after denied mobile in Odisha’s Balasore dist

Balasore: In a tragic incident, a Class IX student allegedly hanged himself after denied mobile phone in Balasore district of Odisha. His hanging body was recovered today from their house in Balia area under Sahadevkhunta Police Station limits.

The deceased minor boy has been identified as the son of Tapan Giri.

As per reports, the boy was found hanging from ceiling fan with the help of a bedsheet in their house today.

After getting information Police reached the spot and seized the body and sent for autopsy.

It has been learnt that as he was spending a lot of time glued to the mobile phone, his mother asked him not to spend more time to mobile and sit for study. That was probably the reason the Class IX student then allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself.
