Boudh MVI Golap Chandra Hansdah arrested by Odisha Vigilance in DA case

He was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 1 multi storeyed building, 44 plots, gold 1 kg, silver 2 kg, and deposits over Rs.1.34 crore which he could not account for satisfactorily.

Boudh: The tainted MVI of Boudh who has been found having property worth crores of rupees that is disproportionate to his income has been arrested by Odisha Vigilance today.

Golap Chandra Hansdah, MVI, Boudh, Dist-Boudh has been placed under arrest by Odisha Vigilance for possession of disproportionate assets.

Based on searches conducted on properties of Golap Chandra Hansdah, MVI he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 1 multi storeyed building, 44 plots, gold 1 kg comprising 2 gold biscuits (each biscuit weighing 50 gms), silver over 2 kg, cash over Rs.2.38 lakhs, deposits over Rs.1.34 crore, Rs.40 lakhs spent on medical education of his daughter, 1 diary with details of benami money transactions, etc, which he could not account for satisfactorily.

In this connection, Balasore Vigilance PS Case No 7/2025 has been registered against Golap Chandra Hansdah, MVI, Boudh and will be forwarded today to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance , Baripada.

Further investigation of the case is underway.
