Bhubaneswar: The bombing in Bhubaneswar that took place on Monday was due to previous enmity said DCP Prateek Singh while interacting with media. Pre-election animosity in the capital has been experienced through this incident.
According to reports, it is known that the four miscreants who carried out the bombing belonged to a particular political party. The injured youth is also a student leader of a certain group. The two groups also clashed in Airport area road recently. Now the car has been seized by the Khandagiri police at the police station.
The incident is under investigation, said the DCP. The Khandgiri police rushed to the spot and brought the bombed Black Scorpio to the police station. The investigation is underway in this matter. The DCP said that from preliminary investigation it has been found that the bombing in Bhubaneswar was due to past enmity.
The bomb was hurled on a Scorpio in the Bermuda area early this morning. There have been allegations that four people came in a bike and hurled bombs.
