BJD president Naveen Patnaik praises VK Pandian, says has done a lot of good works for Odisha and party

The BJD president also said, “Ex MLA Pravat Tripathy was expelled from the Biju Janata Dal some years ago because he was indicted in the chit fund case and spent some years in jail. I want to clarify again that he does not belong to the party.”

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik today praised VK Pandian saying that he has done a lot of good works not only for Odisha but also for the conch party.

While speaking to the media persons, Patnaik said, “I want to state quite clearly that Shri Kartikeyan Pandian in the past has done a lot of good works not only for the state but for the party. So he should not be criticized or blamed for anything.”

“He (Pandian) left the party more than 10 months ago and is not involved in any of the party’s work,” he added.

The BJD president also said, “I would like to state here that I disapprove of any quite larger meetings in hotels or held by party members. They have the party office Sankha Bhawan which is a large building where they’ve been told they should hold their meetings and they should do so.”
