Bhubaneswar: Youth arrested along with father & brother for murder of friend in Dhauli area
Bhubaneswar: A youth has been arrested along with his brother and father for the murder of his friend in Bhubaneswar of Odisha. Dhauli Thana Police arrested the accused persons.
The accused persons have been identified as Sambhunath Das, Hemanta Das and Sudarshan Das. The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Pradhan.
As per reports, two friends (the main accused and the deceased) were sitting at a River bed in Kalyanpur Sasana under Dhauli Police Station limit on last July 15. After some time due to an argument, a verbal spat erupted between them and both of them got engaged with a scuffle. Meanwhile Sambhunath called for his brother and father to the spot and three of them attacked Rajesh Pradhan.
As a result Rajesh sustained grievous injury and thus was admitted to the Capital Hospital for treatment. Later, as his health condition deteriorated he was shifted to a private hospital of the capital city. However, despite treatment he succumbed to the injury on July 26.
Later, on the basis of a complaint lodged by mother of the deceased Rajesh, Dhauli Police have arrested the main accused Sambhunath and his brother and father.
From preliminary investigation it has been known that the argument started as they were drunk. Further investigation of the case is underway.
