Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) reported a huge jump in Covid cases with 710 infections in the last 24 hours.
Earlier on Monday 619 cases were reported under the BMC area. However, this increased by 14.70 per cent as 710 residents of the City Civic body tested positive for the deadly virus.
According to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), as many as 710 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the city in the last 24 hours (till 9 AM today) as against 619 on Monday.
The total 710 COVID infections include 685 local contact cases and 25 quarantine cases. With today’s report, there are 3928 active cases in the BMC jurisdiction till now.

Likewise, 301 new Coronavirus positive cases including 146 Home Quarantine cases, 123 local contacts and 32 institutional quarantine cases were reported from the Cuttack city.
