Bharatpur custodial assault case: Odisha Crime Branch seeks court permission for polygraph test of 4 more suspended cops
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Crime Branch (CB) has moved a court seeking permission to conduct the polygraph test of four more cops who were suspended in the sensational Bharatpur custodial assault case.
According to reports, the Crime Branch has sought the permission of the court to conduct the polygraph test of sub-inspector (SI) Baisalini Panda, ASI’s Salilamayee Sahoo and Sagarika Rath, and constable Balaram Hansda at the state forensic science laboratory in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Earlier, the court of sub divisional judicial magistrate had allowed the probe agency to conduct polygraph, narco-analysis and brain mapping tests on police inspector Dinakrushna Mishra, who has been suspended for allegedly assaulting an Army officer and his fiancée at Bharatpur police station on the intervening night of September 14 and 15.
