Balasore: Youth drowns to death in Sea, another rescued, 3rd one missing
The incident took place at Tajpur beach on the Odisha-West Bengal border.
Jaleshwar: In a tragic incident 3 tourists swept away into the deep water when they were taking bath in the sea in Balasore district of Odisha today. Later, two of them were rescued, off whom one was declared dead by the doctors and the second one is under treatement now. The third tourist is still missing. The incident took place at Tajpur beach on the Odisha-West Bengal border.
Though identity of the 3 youths are yet to be ascertained they are said to be from Barasat area of West Bengal.
According to the information, 3 tourists had gone to the beach to take bath in the sea. Somehow, they were swept away in to the deep water.
On receiving the information, the administration sent a speed boat to rescue the tourists. Two of them were rescued. However, one of them was declared dead by the doctors at the hospital while the other was in a critical condition. He is under treatment at the hospital.
The third tourist is still missing. The rescue operation is underway to trace out him. However, by the time this report was written, he had not been traced out.
