While the agitating workers held a sit-in protest before the hospital starting from the morning, patients in the hospital had a tough time and some of them were seen shifting to other hospital.
The angry workers claimed that the hospital authorities have unlawfully reduced their bonus few months ago and did not give an increment to salary since long for which they are finding it difficult to make both ends meet.
“The annual bonus paid to the staffs at a rate of 20% has been reduced to 12% this year. The move has irked the staffs,” said a staff while taking part in the sit-in.
Meanwhile, the agitating staffs have warned to continue with the sit-in till the medical authority accepts all their demands.
