Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department informed today that another 1447 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Odisha. The recovered patients are being discharged from various facilities, said the Health department.
The H&FW department informed about this development through its official twitter handle.
According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in Sundargarh district followed by Khordha and Cuttack districts.
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 10,50,179.
The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:
453 from Sundargarh
218 from Khordha
190 from Cuttack
125 from Sambalpur
98 from Jharsuguda
49 from Keonjhar
45 from Koraput
42 from Mayurbhanj
30 from Puri
29 from Balasore
15 from Deogarh

Odisha on Wednesday reported a huge spike in Covid cases with 10,059 positive cases including 3,188 from Khordha have been detected in the last 24 hours.
The total cases include 872 in the 0-18 years age group have been found, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department.
Among the 10,059 positives, 5833 are quarantine cases and 4226 are local contacts. There are a total of 44,349 active cases. The new recoveries stand at 949. The positivity rate stands at 12.40%.
