Ambulance, Fire truck, hundreds of vehicles stuck for 3 hours during Lord Kartikeshwar Bhasani in Barang, watch

Cuttack: Ambulance, Fire truck and hundreds of vehicles stuck for more than 3 hours on the Nandankanan-High Court road in Cuttack district of Odisha on Monday evening during Lord Kartikeshwar Bhasani (immersion of Lord Kartikeshwar idol). Though Police were present, nothing could be done.

As per reports, Ambulance and fire engine were stuck in the crowd. Thousands of vehicles were also stuck including four wheelers and two wheelers on the Barang Road for more than 3 hours in traffic.

Even though the police were present, there was no respite. The procession had covered the road for which no vehicles could move ahead.

The main connection of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar is now Nandankanan High Court Road as thousands of vehicles are moving on this road. Yet, the traffic jam in this road yesterday due to the Lord Kartikeshwar idol immersion created a chaotic situation. Hence, the commuters have conveyed their dissatisfaction over such traffic congestion for long hours.
