Alleged couple try to self-immolate in Mayurbhanj, woman dies and man critical
The alleged couple set themselves on fire this morning in Mayurbhanj district. The exact reason behind the incident in not known.
Karanjia: In a shocking incident, a man and a woman self-immolated themselves. The incident of the alleged couple setting themselves on fire happened on Saturday in front of the Khiching college of Mayurbhanj.
The man sustained critical burn injuries, while the woman succumbed to her injuries. Both of them belong to Khiching village in Mayurbhanj district.
According to information, the duo self-immolated themselves by pouring petrol.
The reason behind the death of the youth and the woman is yet to be ascertained. From preliminary investigation, it is suspected that it might be due to a love affair.
