African Ambassadors visit KIIT and KISS
The guests toured the campuses of KIIT and the units of KISS and appreciated the efforts of the founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta.
Bhubaneswar: A high-level delegation comprising Ambassadors and senior diplomats from African countries like Guinea, Chad and Cameroon visited KIIT and KISS today. They toured all the campuses of KIIT and all the units of KISS. They appreciated the efforts of the founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta after visiting KISS.
Dr. Samanta felicitated the guests at a felicitation ceremony organized on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Samanta said that students from many African countries are studying at KIIT. The largest number of them are from Guinea. We are keen to further strengthen our ties with African countries.
Expressing satisfaction after visiting KIIT and KISS, Ambassador Conte Alassane of Guinea said that a conducive environment has been created here for education, research and cultural exchange. Ambassador of the Republic of Chad, Eljima Badda Malote, praised Mr. Samanta for making KIIT a world-class institution.
Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Cameroon, Tyke Mambo Sylvie Michel said that he was impressed by KIIT. He said that a model university like KIIT should also be established in his country.
The event was attended by KIIT University Vice Chancellor Professor Sharanjit Singh, Registrar Gyanranjan Mohanty, Director General of KIIT International Relations Department, Debraj Pradhan and other senior officials.
