Achyuta Samanta inaugurates ‘pata seba’ ahead of Rakhi Purnima

Bhubaneswar: Achyuta Samanta, the founder of KIIT-KISS University and Shri Jagannath Pata Seba Parishad reportedly inaugurated the ‘pata seba’ rituals today ahead of the Rakhi Purnima.

Samanta inaugurated the ‘pata seba’ rituals at the Shri Jagannath Temple Trust, situated on the premises of the Sribani Khetra.

As per the decision, the Shri Jagannath Pata Seba Parishad, after the ‘Bada Rakhi’ rituals at the Puri Jagannath Temple and Lord Baladevjew Temple in Kendrapara, will send Rakhis to all the Jagannath temples across Odisha, India and outside the country.

Duryodhan Sahu, the president of Shri Jagannath Pata Seba Parishad president Duryodhan Sahu, General Secretary Subhendu Swain and other members of the Parishad were present when Samanta inaugurated the ‘pata seba’ rituals.

This year, the Rakhi Purnima is scheduled to be celebrated on August 19 (Monday).
