Bhubaneswar: The first ever pan India DGP-IGP conference is going to be held in Odisha from November 29 to December 1 here. The city of Bhubaneswar is on high alert for the same.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the summit. National Security Advisor (NSA) of India, Ajit Doval will also be present in the summit.
As many as 90 Director General of Police (DGP) and Inspector General of Police (IGP) will be a part of the National conference. The dignitaries will arrive in Bhubaneswar today ahead of the conference while Amit Shah and PM Modi will arrive tomorrow.
The security system in the entire city has been tightened for the DGP-IGP conference. Security professionals have been deployed in Airport, Lok Seva Bhawan, Raj Bhawan the Guest House and in the whole of Bhubaneswar.
The city of Bhubaneswar has been announced to be ‘no drone zone’ in these days. Around 85 platoon force has been deployed for the conference. In the conference, Police DG of Odisha, Border Security Forces (BSF) DG, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) DG, Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) DG among other dignitaries will be present.
