Bhubaneswar: At least four swabs sent from Odisha to National Institute of Virology in Pune have found negative in the test for deadly Novel Coronavirus.
Persons from whom the samples had been collected include three Chinese Contractors and a local. All four have returned from China recently, say reports.
However, the China-returned MBBS student from Kandhamal district, whose blood samples had been sent for test to NIV is yet to receive his report.
Notably, the State Health and Family Welfare has issued notices to all district administrations to inform it about the people returning from China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand after January 15, as a precautionary to check the Coronavirus infection.
