4 Injured in Bus Accident in Balangir of Odisha

Balangir: A bus accident happened in the Bhagirathi square of Balangir city. Four passengers were injured as a bus crashed into another. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. In this mishap, more than 10 passengers sustained minor injuries.

According to the information, a bus named ‘Dildar’ carrying passengers was heading to Bhubaneswar from Balangir late at night yesterday. Meanwhile, the bus was hit from back by another bus named ‘Kingfisher’ injuring four of its passenger. The injured were rescued and taken to the Bhimabhoi Medical College of Balangir. All the passengers were then discharged from the hospital after being treated. The mishap is speculated to have taken place because of speeding.

Similarly, an accident occurred at Rengalbeda square of Koida Police Station Limits in Keonjhar today. The mishap reportedly happened while returning back from a marriage celebration taking away lives of two kids and a lady. Two more sustained serious injuries in the accident. They were first admitted to the nearby hospital but were then shifted to Rourkela owing to their deteriorating condition says report.
