2 Royal Bengal Tigers to be brought to Similipal Tiger Reserve from Maharashtra

Mayurbhanj: The Similipal Tiger Reserve is all set to welcome two Royal Bengal Tigers from Maharashtra in the next week, reports said.

A special team of forest officials including Similipal Director, Assistant director, veterinary doctors and a rapid response team has flown to Maharashtra.

The two tigers will be translocated from Tadoba National Park in Maharashtra to Similipal Tiger Reserve.

The special team will identify two tigers to be brought to Similipal and will complete all the procedures as per law, informed Similipal PCCF.

Meanwhile, Similipal Tiger Reserve is now home to 28 tigers.
